Sunday night watching
Today is the 27th of March, 2022. Here're a few YouTube videos to watch for inspiration, historical reflection, business/media/fashion insights and yesterday’s visuals.
So today I escaped reading the news, because it’s Sunday… nothing good is going to happen on Sunday, and there was actually disturbing news: Luhansk or Donetsk (that’s not important, the fact is) came up with an illuminating idea to arrange a referendum to join Russia.
I’m curious: Why is Russia never asked if we want new members?
Because a tiny tiny almost invisible Russia in my grumpy face doesn’t want those. That includes the previous new member. I don’t want my taxes and my pension fund spent again on other territories in awfully depressed conditions like we don’t have our own depressive regions and huge economical problems (thank you very much for the unprecedented size of those) inside out borders. What the fuck?! I understand we should rebuild and pay money for the devastation of Ukraine, because that’s minimum we morally obliged to do. But that is another story.
It’s obvious that no one could have publicly expressed such an idea without consulting with the “big brother” (or “father”). The only thing that I see as a positive outcome of that disturbing future is the ceasefire and truce (at least temporary) and stabilisation of the situation. I think it looks like a potential platform (not planned though, I think it’s obvious) for Russia to conserve the conflict and “succeed” in “special operation” in the eyes of its supporters. And it will give an opportunity to bad peace, that we will be able to officially call the “Cold War II” opening. Ethically shitty. In relation to amount of dying and feeing people - it would be better than prolonged scenario that the USA would prefer.
I can’t say that’s the case though. Where I am and where’s all those who decide things, right? But I’m for peace as soon as possible.
After that shiny news I needed to just dive somewhere. I started watching YouTube. I don’t remember I’ve ended up rewatching the speeches I saved at different times of my life. So here they are.
Steve Jobs’ speech at Harvard
Albert Elbaz speech “Reimagining the Fashion System” at BoF VOICES 2018
Benedict Cumberbatch reads Sol LeWitt's letter to Eva Hesse
Russell Brand
And here’s my discovery that I couldn’t have expected to happen. I found Russell Brand absolutely charming in “Rock of Ages”.
But I didn’t know he had a channel and that he’s such a good speaker. I don’t say about the concept and the level of criticism - that’s perfection. So if you have trust issues with the media, the contemporary agenda and you don’t feel you can find a solid ground because your feelings, intuition don't go with the information you get from social networks or traditional press, just watch him. It will give you some ideas. Just enough to see how the media and the constructions of our simulacrums build right now. That’s enough to make a window.
Here are three episodes I chose for now, but it’s not because they are the best. Everything is good. I have no idea how he produces so much content. My respect!
First I’ve watched
And one about the things I’ve already written about - the political agenda and one side stories in traditional media:
And about the crypta:
I hope I didn’t shared anything that could be marked as “fake news” and won’t end up in jail… Next time I’ll close the article to free subscribers, because I can’t risk my freedom. Enough that I post on the “terrorist organisation” media - Instagram.
With love.

Stay safe and free.
A digest from my Instagram for March 26th, 2022
9.30am zakharova_kaetano Good morning 🌞 How are you today? #haveagoodday I came across this sculpture garden yesterday. Today it feels pretty precise visualization of my #morningmoodbut also it’s a nice #morninginspiration for the thinking process. Des Jardins Etretat part called “Garden of sounds” by #SamuelSalcedo. It’s about human emotions but it’s about everything we see in it, because the impression from the art is very subjective and can’t be directed to the one and only interpretation, especially if there’s no notes what we should see. So what do you see? #artasinspiration #beautyofart#goodmorningart #contemporaryart #goodmorningpost made thanks to @the.real.maggie.shepherd
