Friday evening news
Today is March 18, 2022. Here's a pack of bad news, thoughts about “the fear” I feel reading your comments now and the Instagram visuals from yesterday.
Happy Saint Patrick’s celebrations to those who celebrates and started yesterday. And welcome to my simulacrum - to the world where I need to delete the comments under my posts and to restrict messages in Instagram Direct. I don’t want you to call me a hypocrite, so I explain myself through the novellas of the past week.
According to the Russian law about the public media (press), I as a media (I have more than a thousand followers on Instagram) is responsible for all the content I publish including the comments. That means if a censor read your words under my post after someone complained about me to the Russian authorities, I’ll become a subject of investigation and will end up in court. The minimum I get if I’m convicted is a penalty and the sign that I’m a foreign agent paid by the foreign government. Maximum is (for the fake news and intentional disinformation about the Russian troops and the special operation) 15 years in prison.
I appreciate your opinions and emotions. I really treasure your trust. But don’t ask me if I’m “afraid” of the comments like “Zelinskiy is a superhero. F.. Putin! F.. Russia!” or “Go to protest, you lazy bitch!” and “You are dump! A betrayer of your country!”. I’m not afraid of them. I find those stupid, offensive and provoking aggression among my community. The first author will be restricted if she doesn’t understand that my blog isn’t a square for the meetings, those who left the second and third comments are already blocked.
